Board of Directors
EcoNova is proud to present its Board of Directors to you, they all have EcoNova's mission at heart, whether it be in education or the environment. They are passionate people who have worked in these sectors for several years.
Tomas Haug
Administrateur
Tom comes to EcoNova’s board bringing a lifetime of varied worldly experiences and business backgrounds.
Being a Professional Mountain, Sea Kayaking and Bicycling Guide, Tom has guided in many
remote areas of the world and all over North America and Europe. Having had his own
adventure guiding business for many years has credited him with a working knowledge of
operating an organization with an expertise in sales and marketing.
His different adventures, the beauty of nature and people around the world led Tom to become a professional photographer. He also taught Fine Arts and Photography after completing a degree in Fine Arts/Photography/Education specializing in Renaissance Art History. While teaching in the education system he also taught Outdoor Education and paralleled these experiences with lessons on geography and knowledge of the outdoor environment. Tom also has an affiliation with the experiential education companies of Creative Toolbox and Fireside Adventures teaching photography to kids and adults.
Tom supports the teaching work EcoNova is coordinating with schools and educational institutions as he feels the way to a healthier planet is not through major political objectives, rather through listening to and working with young people who will be intrusted with our planet in the coming years.
